Third Grade Reading Challenge 2017
The Sno-Isle Libraries Mega-Fun, Biblio-Trivia, Rockem-Sockem Third Grade Reading Challenge is a literary trivia program for students enrolled in public schools throughout Snohomish and Island counties.

In 2017, 1,300 students participated on 194 teams from 50 schools. After regional competitions, the seven top teams faced off in the finals on March 30 at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo. The winning team was the Mt. Pilchuck Elementary Bookworms from the Lake Stevens School District.

The Third Grade Reading Challenge encourages children to have fun and enjoy reading while honing their literacy and teamwork skills. After reading six books, children participate in In-School, Semi-final and Final Reading Challenge events in a book knowledge quiz bowl game to determine champion teams.

The program is sponsored by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation, the Northwest Literacy Foundation, the Howarth Trust and the Edmonds Bookshop.
