Denver Windmill, situated just south of Downham Market in Norfolk is well worth a visit. It lies well signposted off the A10 as you are almost at Downham Market in the village of Denver.
The Mill Tower is 59 feet high from the curb and has a base diameter of 26 feet 10 inches. It is a functioning mill and the millers also bake their own bread which is on sale in the tea room. The mill was originally built in 1835 and has been fully restored. There is a guided tour if you want it which takes you from the bottom right up to the top of the tower.
I like the slatted look to the sail against the blue sky.
