Street version of the GT40, the MKIII circa 1967.

I had an old Playboy magazine from 1967 that ran an article about this car. They indicated you could get one for around $14,000 back then. It sported a longer tail to make room for luggage, and different shape front fenders to raise the headlights ( which were quad round ones instead of the twin rectangular ones on the racers). You have to wonder how many were sold and what they are worth today.
