The desire that burns within makes us who we are. We have to either rise to the challenges or take a seat on the bench of life.
Too often we are told how great we are which smothers the flame and our frailty is revealed. When we fail to reach a goal we must evaluate the loss and grow from the experience and pain.
When we allow others to smother our flame then the desire that burns within us will die - to be winners in the game of life we must fan our own flame when nobody else will. Losers walk off the court mad at what others did to them - winners return because of what others did for them.
