israeli salad

I used to live on this salad, practically, but my favorite part about it is all the different ways you can adapt it. I could go on and on. But the core recipe is half a red onion, two tomatoes, a one-pound english cuke, lemon juice, olive oil, finely minced parsley, salt, pepper and I throw in a teaspoon or two of sumac powder.
