    Came up a little short on custard.

      Please tell me you'll be explaining this recipe (or point me in the direction to find it!). I believe it is a must next time I cook the bf breakfast!

      It's along the lines of this but these days, I skip the booze (boring!) and use more like 6 eggs for the same volume of milk. For a 9-inch skillet like this, I don't remember how much bread it was but you'd want a 4 egg or so amount.

      Ha! I made your original version, with the booze, for a post-wedding brunch yesterday. I (and everyone else) loved it as it was, but I did think that if I made it again I'd want to try more eggs. :)
