Summer meals, even though it's just the furthest thing from summer out there. (What up, 45 degrees and rainy?) That's pickled white asparagus on the side--stupidly overpriced but really good from a jar. Rosemary olive demi-baguette and a smattering of proscuitto for Alex, something called summer sausage we like, but not enough, and hot and sweet soprasetta. Alex likes to talk about how when he met me, I was a vegetarian.
