      were these fro the current issue of Gourmet by chance? I had them dog-eared but if they're poopy, i won't make them...

      They're from last June, actually. They didn't taste terrible, they were just very average and the recipe needed a lot of work (it took 8 cups of flour, not 6, among other things). I want something richer, something clearly steps above what you can buy.
