italian bread salad

    Newer Older

I have joked before that I seem to have a "queue" of recipes I have made but not blogged. Some get pushed back because I get busy, or I cooked a little out of season. Others just didn't wow me and I didn't feel like vetting out all the reasons it didn't.

As this falls in the latter category, I think it's time for me to admit that I am JUST NOT GOING TO BE BLOGGING THIS ONE. It's only been 62 days, you see, so it's not that I was rushing but it was just OK. Not great, not wonderful, we didn't finish the leftovers, I wasn't eager to make it again. It had too many herbs to be pleasant to get a mouthful of and you know, some recipes are just not winners.

Honesty is the best policy - it does look yummers though;)

Makes sense to me! It's probably not the best to post about non-winners since your photography always makes it look delicious. It would confuse me greatly. :)
