    It can be TORTUROUSLY bright in our kitchen. Woe is me. What, where's your sympathy?

    This is smoky Spanish paprika. However, I really need to, uh, relabel this because I'd mixed it up with the spicy stuff and shez-zow! it was really good, but quite the surprise when we tasted the marinade.

      I think your comment here is funny--mostly because I was taking pictures of my nectarine tart last night in my not-quite-so-bright-kitchen, and I thought, "good god, she must have SO MUCH LIGHT in her kitchen!" Then again, I was trying to take pictures around 9pm in a kitchen that has big trees outside of its window. :)
