whisking lemon curd

    I found Paula Dean's recipe lacking. I'm whisking and whisking (arm is sore today), like ten minutes and it's not getting thicker. Consult Joy of Cooking, once again, and oh, looky here, it thickens upon standing, off the heat. THANKS A LOT.

      Oh Paula, how could you! I made some lemon bars last night and couldn't get them to set for the life of me. Damn those incomplete directions!
