After the sunset...

I went back to Bombay Beach with my buddy John to shoot the full moon, but was disappointed. The fog & clouds were too intense to even see the moon, but the Ghost Town & sunset made up for it. =)

This is another one for the purists out there, I know it's a little dark, but it really sets the mood plus it's SOOC! =)

The Salton Sea sits tucked away in a hot desert valley in the south east corner of California. It was created in 1905 when an out of control irrigation project re-routed the Colorado River into the desert for 18 months. The area soon bloomed and became a famed resort destination, rivaling nearby Palm Springs.

But today, the place is a virtual ghost town, as the Sea suffers from a host of environmental problems due to its very high salt content.
