Mac mini G4

Taking apart my G4 Mac mini for a RAM upgrade. Three-quarters rear view.

Information on RAM upgrades isn't that easy to find. According to Apple's Mac mini (orig.) - Technical Specifications, this machine ships with "512MB of PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM, supports up to 1GB." Neither the technical specs nor the Apple System Profiler (10.4.11) tell you how many slots are available in the machine. Argh!

The fellow at Fry's told me I need laptop RAM which, now that I have the case apart, is obviously wrong. Evidently, PC2700 (333 MHz) is available in both laptop and non-laptop versions. Back to Fry's tomorrow to get the correct RAM.
