Thanks, Will! I agree, it does look better...bigger. I can at least check off one from the 3000+ to go through from yesterday.

Great pic - we stopped on that bit of road the day the race went through - where you were stood to take the pic was snow last week!

    Great shot....and fantastic b/w processing!

Very cool. What lens did you use for the shot, and what program are you using to stitch the photos together?

    Thanks!

    Wow, amazing shot!

Thanks for the kind words. I remember standing there thinking...if I get these shots right, this could be a really cool picture. I think that a lot, but it rarely seems to happen. It did this time though. This picture makes me happy.

Cody - I used a Nikon 14-24 2.8, three shots stitched together with AutoPano Giga Pro, then processed in Nik Software's black and white conversion program, SilverEfex Pro.

Just came back from the Dolomites. Didn't ride the Giau, but wow, what a great area to ride, hike and photograph (LR currently ingesting my GBytes of photos ;-)). Great shot, I like it!

Hugger's article mentions you did a run of prints of this image. How does one get one of the prints, and what'll it set me back?
