Wildflowers in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

The desert received a decent amount of rain (for a desert) this year and now there are awesome displays of wildflowers.

 

The yellow flowers are desert sunflowers

The purple flowers are sand verbena (Abronia villosa)

The white flowers are dune evening primroses

    Finally rain enough for these beauties!
    Then came the winds & I presume these are now a distant memory.
