What a fun pattern this was to make! The pattern is Hopscotch by Thimble Blossoms. Fabric is Prince Charming by Tula Pink, background Kona Ash.

I can't wait to make this pattern - I'm planning to use Reunion (by Sweetwater) in the reds, grays and blues...it is so much fun to see the different fabrics everyone uses!

Wendy Isn't it fun? I think that would be the best part about designing quilt patterns, seeing all the different ways they turn out. I can tell I will make this pattern again, it is so unique and not at all difficult.

Beautiful! Seeing your quilt seals the deal... I'm off to buy the pattern! How was it to put together?
  • Sleepy Time Quilts 3y

Deb Westerberg Thanks! It went together very easily. I ended up trimming all of my blocks to square them (triangle them?), so it didn't end up quite as big as the finished dimensions on the pattern, but still didn't have any trouble lining up points, etc. I always use lots o starch, so had no issues w/ bias. I will definitely make another!

I'd decided not to take on another project, but I think you've just changed my mind!
  • Sleepy Time Quilts 3y

Euphoria... Thanks, in all fairness though, I had made this several weeks ago before the QAL started, I am not Superwoman!! :)
  • Sleepy Time Quilts 3y

Happy Go Lizzie I use Sta-Flo liquid starch, they do sell it in grocery stores (around here anyway), you may have to look at a different store. Starch the fabric before you cut it up. Hope that helps!
