His behaviour is getting better every day, thanks to my Dad working with him at his special obedience training with other dogs who have the same or similar behavioural/aggresion problems. He really just needs to let go and learn to Trust; Humans and other dogs.
For easter we had the family over to our house for lunch. We put the muzzle on Hyde just to be careful. He doesn't like anyone coming in the house who he knows doesn't actually live there. My two younger cousins were over. They are 9 and 13 years old. Like quite a lot of dogs, Hyde isn't too fond of kids. Which is strange because my cousins are pretty much the same height as me haha. Anyway, Hyde stayed in his bed in the lounge room the whole time, always watching us, until...my cousins decided to start play-fighting and one threw the other one the ground and well as expected that set Hyde off. He ran up to them growling, I sort of saw it before it even happened (me being observant as usual) and intervened. I quickly picked my cousin up of the floor and spun her around so my back was to Hyde. He had his muzzle on remember, so he couldn't actually bite. Just act scary, growl and jump up and down. Anyway, Dad grabbed Hyde pretty quickly and put him back in his bed and he stayed there after that...still watching everyone closely.
I do miss having Toby around, he was so easy-going.
