Franklin Institute

Franklin Institute is a first-rate science museum that has been operating since the 1830s.

One of its star attractions, dating back to the 1950s, is a heart that the visitor can walk through. If properly scaled, the person the heart belongs to would have to stand about ten stories tall. The walk simulates the path of oxygen-poor blood being pumped to the lungs, before coming back oxygen-rich to be pumped back to the rest of the body.
