20120309 Pastel sunset Goa - IMG_3252B&W (Explored 9th March 2012 # 86)
As mentioned elsewhere, the sea was unremarkable in the low tide, the sky was almost completely without clouds and there were no 'props' (for want of a better word) to be used as silhouettes or in any other way to embellish listless images. So I decided to change the perspective. It involved lying down flat on the wet slushy sand, flattening my tripod's legs to ground level and shooting the waves in the distance at their level. Suddenly, the waves that hardly appeared noticeable stood out in the view finder as real big ones. I started shooting.
At the end of it I got up with a very messy body from toes to chest but managed to get some decent shots . . . Here is one . . .
