Depending on which part of Belfast you are passing through you will often see flags and other insignia representing the community view.
As an Englishman with Irish family roots from the South I still get confused when I see the Irish flag flying on what others would regard as British soil. Let us hope that peace and prosperity gradually free Northern Ireland from its legacy of hatred, fear and distrust. These things cannot be healed over night.
