1948 Hudson Commodore woodie

Photographed at the July 27, 2012 preview to the RM auction at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan.

The only 1948 Hudson woodie station wagon ever built, this project (based on a Hudson woodie design study by Hudson designer Don Butler) was begun in the mid-1990s. Starting with a 1948 Hudson 4-door sedan, the restoration took over twelve years to complete.

This one sold for $159,500. Information from the RM website: 1948 Hudson Woodie
