1971 Buick Silver Arrow III

The 2008 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance at Rochester, Michigan.

This Bill Mitchell designed Buick concept car was part of a featured display of 100 years of General Motors.

Mitchell's Silver Arrow III was based on the new 1971 "Boattail" Riviera. His intention here was to revive the classic prewar proportions, such as the lowered roofline and lengthy hood. Other design features include high-level warning lights, redesigned bumpers and quarter windows, a plush silver leather

interior and real wire wheels.
