I've always wanted to know how you actually take a picture with one of these, because there is no way you could reach the mechanical release on top. So is that a release button on the botttom grip?
    Thanks,
    Mike
(saw pic in F-1 group, if your wondering)

Yes, there's a release button on the grip. (See the note)

This is a big camera. Thank you for sharing.

And it's heavy too. It comes with an external powerpack, making it even heavier. Still looking for the original tripod.

    That is pure awesomeness.

Killer FD porn! Does that 250 stand for 250 frame capacity? Wow!

  7. Sixtyfour 92 months ago | reply

Yes it does :) Or the amount of muscle in kilo's you need to cary this thing around :)

That has to weigh a couple kilos anyway. I just picked up your camera's little brother (A-1) and the same lens and I'm blown away by how heavy such a tiny camera is. Really cool gear and I hope you find the tripod. I'm looking for one of those fitted cases myself for that old-school look.
