Spent a much needed day with my family today with a little walk around London enjoying some rare time away from work.
I was hoping to step up a notch with my street photography as I am inspired by my Flickr contact Peter Chinnock(click his name on the right) who's street stuff is amazing, anyway this is one of the hardest subjects for me as it's amazingly difficult to find subjects that stand out from the crowd whilst just walking around with a dslr slung over your shoulder and holding childrens hands lol.
Whilst walking through St James Park there was this chap who was asleep on a bench with a bike and about 20-30 carrier bags full and attached to the bike.
I took a few shots but I also felt a sense of sadness for this amazing character who has obviously had a hard life.
It's incredibly amazing how some people live wether it's through choice or circumstances but it also shows how crappy life can be sometimes.
You just have to keep going and not give up cos when you do life will give up on you.
