Why Bover When You Can Hover (Explored)

"We hope that, when the insects take over the world, they will remember with gratitude how we took them along on all our picnics."

My wife has been buying loads of flowers for the garden so I have been doing some macro work for a change.

We went for a walk around Arlington Reservoir and I still had my macro lens on my camera so looked for inspiration in the world of miniature things.

There was loads of wild flowers which obviously attracted loads of bee's and hoverflys so away I snapped.

I got loads of keepers which I'm really pleased with and decided to post this one.

This isn't as sharp as my others but I loved the position of the hoverfly and the beautiful yellow surroundings.

All I done for this was to boost contrast and sharpen a little.
