Clyde Estep; Burr Oak, Kansas, 1912

my grandfather's (John McIlvanie) friend, Clyde Estep (left); The man on the right isn't identified.

Clyde was working as a butcher in Burr Oak, Kansas.

This is a photo postcard mailed from Clyde to John ( Mt. Morris, Illinois) on May 20, 1912.

"Dear Shorty, Why don't you write? I could write you a newspaper today. But I won't write at all until I get a letter from you. See if you recognize anyone here. Slim";

Clyde later moved to Garden Grove, California.
