I may have forgotten to mention that I'm visiting family in Michigan for the week. Be back soon!

I caught my mother's cat playing with this baby chipmunk. He curled up in my hand and did not seem to want to leave. I found his family's hole and set him by it. He slowly retreated to the hole, but turned around to look back out at me and considered coming back to my hands! It was love.

Was it ok from the cat playing with it? its soo cute, I have lots of chipmunks come up to my window everyday.. well not now their hibernating, but their so adorable! I even have had them get IN my house!! Lol twice, once I didnt even notice.. I had accidentally left my window open while I went out for a few hours, wellits a basement window, about 6 ft high, a poor little chipmunk if it fell in wouldnt be able to jump back out, and so I guess it did, or maybe it jumped? I dont know, but the next morning when I got out of the shower, I was talking to my boyfriend and Bam.. CHIPMUNk.. Running across my living room! Oh Boy! He got into my storage room, like trying to find a needle in a haystack! eventually we got him out, and closer to the window, finally I got aholdof him, he tried to bite me, I had gloves on those, and just as he was begining to break thru the gloves, I shoved a peanut in his mouth :) It was so cute, he was still very angry with me, you could tell, the look in his eyes was .... I cant even discribe it, pure anger lol he wanted down!! he didnt relise at first he was biting a peanut not me, when he did, I had alrady set him back out the window! He was fine, and cheerfull after that as usual! The next time it was only for about an hour,, I hung a towel from the window, and chipmunks are Very Smart!! I called him, pointed, and he could follow my fingers! he did the work himself, although poor guy the first time the towel fell, I tried to catch it but he flipped upside down, and was wrapped up in the towel lol but second try he got it, and was waiting up at the top for a peanut lol :) I dont think it was the same one, their is about 8 :) Their soo cute
