Ruger 10/22 Sporter
This was my first Ruger 10/22 rifle. As I write this, I believe I am up to about four or five of them. They are inexpensive and fun to customize.
This started as a Ruger 10/22 Sporter I bought because I fell in love with the fancy walnut stock. I wanted a bull barrel, but also wanted to keep the stock, so I compromised with a Volquartsen "muzzle weighted" barrel.
I installed an enhanced trigger from Volquartsen or Power Custom, with an automatic bolt release (why the hell it doesn't come with a bolt release from the factory is anyone's guess). There's also a Power Custom magazine release. It shoots very nice.
The scope is a Mueller APV 4.5-14x 40mm with adjustable objective. The big-ass lens shroud makes the little .22 look like an evil sniper rifle!
