I am not a tidy person, but I wish I was. I can be fanatical about organization, compartmentalization, filing. My personal files go back to the eighties and fill eight long file drawers, even though I still have about five years worth of crap at home that still needs to be filed.
Last week I was looking for something in my office workroom and there was no choice but to clean up the room to find it. That meant I had to organize and label all the fasteners I had laying around on the workbench. These are only those I use for design and prototyping; fasteners that actually have designated part numbers are kept elsewhere in inventory.
