High Creek Camp
I got to High Creek Camp (elevation 9,440), 4.8 miles and 3,360 feet up, in three hours and fifteen minutes, a personal best.
But I hit a wall afterward. It took me over two hours to make it about a mile up the ridge to 10,100 feet. I felt sick and lay down up there for a while before heading back down to High Creek Camp on a bum knee.
Between the time I left High Creek Camp, went up the ridge and came back again, about four hours had elapsed.
