The above image comes from Wellington (New Zealand’s capital) and in particular Lambton Harbour and its quay - a small part of Wellington’s Harbour.
I recently had a long weekend photographing some of the cities skyline, and a friend who was performing at a gig during the evening!
In the background, adjacent to the waterfront you’ll notice many of the tall buildings that represent the heart of the Central Business District (CBD). Approximately 62,000 people work in the CBD, and is home to many leading corporate businesses.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself in Wellington, it appears to have everything you could possibly ask for! In fact ‘Lonely Planet’ recently rated Wellington as the fourth best city in the world to visit... also referring to Wellington as the “coolest little capital in the world”.
