Escher Effect in Memphis, TN

These buildings, including the First Tennessee bank, in downtown Memphis, TN (see in Bing Maps), appear to be leaning in towards one another dramatically, rather like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. However, this is just due to distortion caused when the aerial photos of the city, taken at different angles, were subsequently digitally patched together to form a continuous whole.

Bing Maps' "Bird's Eye" view mode, where this Memphis image was taken from, has some of this going on in various places.
