Blue Steel In The Hour Of Chaos

    Newer Older

Cleaning up the desktop right now with all the images I have yet to post. This is one is from earlier this year on the madison st overpass in downtown Seattle at blue hour. I always like this overpass for the amazing array of angles and possibilities for framing the on/off ramps and freeway.

As always thanks for taking your time to stop in and visit my stream.

I like the contrast between the warm lights and the cool blue. It certainly is a good viewpoint for light trails. Thanks for the nice comment btw. :)

It's a great Engineering As Art Picture Composition!
      I saw this image in:

It is a spectacular addition to the group pool.

Fantastic long exposure from this vantage. I like the bold light trails on both sides of the highway as well as the exit ramps. The blue tones in the image contrast very well with the light trails. Take care, Steve!

      Love the icy blue Steve.
The light trails really add that 'vein' feel.
      Killer composition.
You must have so many gems on your comp just waiting to get the "Steve" treatment. One at a time, don't hold back, we want to see them all! :)

Great, unique perspective of Seattle. One of the reasons I love shooting around downtown is the fact there are so many different places to shoot from. I have not tried them all, but you certainly seem to have done so! Love the deep blues and the electric lights! Excellent HDR processing!

I spent so many hours on these overpasses late into the night. :) I don't miss the traffic, but I definitely miss the photo opportunities that city afforded me.
