Roofs of Varanasi

Families hang their clothes to dry in the sun on the rooftop. The vivid scarfs drew my attention, and the old structures are typical for the ancient city Varanasi is.

 

This photo is a little gem I found while going through my India folder. I'm fond of the contrast between the pops of colour and the dingy tone of the buildings.
