One for My Love
Outside of my office windows, we have rows of miniature magnolia trees. I had never paid much attention to them before, but they have been in full bloom the for the past few weeks and are full of the scent of spring. They have these beautiful, complex white flowers that burst from fuzzy little buds. The tops of the plants are like big magnolia umbrellas, and I took dozens of photos before I noticed this single solitary flower towards the bottom of the trunk, no more than a foot off the ground.
There's an iPhone wallpaper version of this photo.
And with this post, the last of my 20D photos! I've been able to get out a couple times with my new 5D mkII over the past couple days, and it's been a lot of fun. My percentage of "good" shots is definitely a higher than it was before (although I'm sure a lot of that is full frame novelty). I can't wait to start posting some tomorrow.
