Summertime in Iceland | Kirkjubæjarklaustur

Taken | 04.07.2012

On my 25 birthday i drove around the country and one of my many photo shoot stops was right outside small town called Krikjubæjarklaustur. Here is one photo from that trip.

The village Kirkjubæjarklaustur, pronounced Icelandic: church farm cloister, often referred to locally as just Klaustur) is a village in the south of Iceland on the hringvegur (road no. 1 or Ring Road) between Vík í Mýrdal and Höfn. It is part of the municipality of Skaftárhreppur with about 120 inhabitants.
