Kyuss t-shirt design

In two days I will be seeing my favorite band perform live, Queens of the Stone Age. I've been looking forward to seeing them for years upon years and I will finally get that chance.

Ryan, my friend and fellow designer, thought it would be a cool idea to design Kyuss t-shirts for the show. For those who don't know, Kyuss was a band from the southern California desert-rock scene in the early 1990s who was the precursor to Queens of the Stone Age. Josh Homme (lead signer in Queens) was one of Kyuss' founding members.

So, we set about designing our own personal Kyuss shirts. I wanted mine to be very 60s/70s rock, very influenced by an old Allman Brothers shirt design.
