Roasted Bone Marrow

Single bone full of warm, fatty marrow was paired with a small crostini pile and dish of sea salt. I was surprised at JL's confession that he had never had marrow before and gladly served him a few of his firsts. It was the least I could do for the b-day boy who ate it up (not sure if it was because he really liked it or he felt that he had to out of politeness as I gingerly scooped from the bone sheath, hand seasoned and all but fed the lad).
