This is basically a composition of two photos.
The first photo delivers the splash around the bottom of the glass. This is accomplished by me smashing the glass into the puddle of water and leaving the glass untouched in its place for the second photo. That photo is used to remove my hand from the first photo. But it also adds the water in the glass and the falling water drops to the composition.
The shots were lit by two YN560. both at 1/64th power. The first one was bare and below the table pointed at the white back wall. The second was snooted and aimed at the glass from camera left and on axis with the glass.
