High-tech publication record
You can see it bigger if you click on "All Sizes".
This is a record of all the magazines and journals I've sent essays and memoirs and stories to. It starts in the upper-left hand corner, around the beginning of 2003, when I was in my first year of grad school in Norfolk. The yellow highlighted things are successes. Anything not highlighted in yellow means that particular editor was not enamored with the particular piece of writing I sent him or her. That, as you can see, is the case in the overwhelming majority of examples here. The boxes contain the names of individual essays or chapters.
Clearly, I have small handwriting.
I suppose this might give other writers hope? Or despair?
