my left wrist, with a touch of cleavage in the back (oo la la!!!)
two years ago, when i was 59, i celebrated 10 years of being smoke free! i did this by getting my first ever tattoo!!! it was very exciting for me. when i was growing up, a good girl didn't do such a thing and, in my family, that attitude still existed. still, i wanted one but i wanted it to mean something. my quit date was september 11, 2000. the day of my one year anniversary was the REAL 9/11. that day, which began in joy (for me), ended in such sadness. so my tattoo is peace in six languages. because, in addition to girls running for miss america, peace is really all i want (in the big picture--of course, i still want oodles of cameras and tons of good chocolate and some wine). seriously, this tattoo means so very much to me. and my husband thinks it is way cool and my mom says it is at least "tasteful." bonus.
