New Toy

Just bought the Hasselblad 500CM with 80mm CF T* Planar Carl Zeiss lens with the A12 Film back.

Now it is fully assembled with a roll of B&W TMax 100 in it and ready to go. Need to test it this weekend.

    I'm really excited!!!

This room has red walls and the table is a dark wood surface. I turned my desk lamp 180 degrees to face the wall so it gave a bounced red colour to the tabletop and camera.

Can you believe I still haven't taken any photos yet!!!

      Thought it was brushed metal...

And yes, I can believe that you havent taken any photographs! Work tends to get in the way sometimes, I had to cancel a much awaited trip to Bangalore to photograph a concert that a bunch of friends were performing in! Bummer weekend! Hope this one is better for you!

Susheel... well this weekend is free from work. It's saturday lunch and I'm planning what I'm going to shoot. So far looks like my quest will be successful this weekend. 1 roll of B&W. 12 shots.

Still haven't finished the first roll of film yet. Took a break from the cameras for awhile. Shot a few digital lately but nothing else. Bought some film so I'm locked and loaded. Plan to shoot something in 2 weeks when we are off to Sydney.

No problem Susheel any time. Just got my spot light meter in the mail yesterday from the states. So now I don't have to lug around my digital just to get light readings :) YAY!!!

I know how that feels... I once landed up at a concert only to find that I'd left my CF cards in a different bag... I was stranded with a Canon body which didnt have a decent meter... I ended up doing a rough metering with the Konica A2 before the show... and estimating from then on... The pics came out really well, fortunately.

Great that you'll have on-board metering now... :)
