Reflections of Dallas

I was in Texas this week and a co worker and I went hunting for great night shots of Dallas. Thank goodness for Flickr and Google Map, we were able to find a spot along the levy banks where we were able to see the city in it's full glow.

Now again I don't know what it is with you Texan's but all that bigger and better stuff you hear all the time. While I was there I went all the way down the embankment to get to this large puddle which had a wonderful reflection of the city in it. I'm glad it was night because if it was day I may have not wanted to go down to this area. All I know is that there were mosquitoes the size of large dinosaures there that saw me and my friend and said "LUNCH"! On our way back to his truck, there were two or three of them fighting over his 3/4 ton dual cab truck...trying to pick it up and carry it away.

Anyways once I got back home and saw the was worth the 2-3 pints of blood I had to have transfused back into me.

I hope you enjoy!
