(52) week 33. busy.
This week, I went to a boat cruise in Downtown Toronto for my real estate office's annual summer party. It was an evening boat cruise, and I've never had the chance of taking pictures in Downtown Toronto at night.
So since it was a boat cruise, I decided not to bring my tripod. Big mistake. I figured out how difficult it really is to try to become a tripod, being still, while trying to take a hand-held picture at night, when it's pitch-black, at ISO 1250, and the boat is moving, and there are people surrounding you from everywhere.
Yes, my camera's ISO capabilities are to thank for whatever I did manage to photograph. But initially, my dad stole my camera, and started shooting at ISO 12800...then I realized all the noise I would see on my computer when I downloaded those shots, and how painful it would be to flip through those pictures.
I got a few good shots. I'm pretty happy.
Would love to go to Polson Pier one day and take some long exposures. I have definitely have to go before classes start! Can't believe that four months of summer are almost over. Wow.
Anyways, back to unpacking. The boxes. never. end. Ahhh.
PS. I forgot, it was also really cold that night. Lol :D
