Stranger #1/100 - #2/365
Today was the day I decided to shoot my first stranger.
I was walking on the colorful Portobello Street in West London, dead nervous, looking for a stranger who would be less likely to slap me when I ask to photo them. There were a lot of people on the street, numerous options. And I did spot some very beautiful people. I walked to them, but couldn't gather courage to ask them. And then I saw these two girls strolling in the market. They looked relaxed which was a good sign. Braced for rejection, I took a deep breath and started with 'Hello'. They were tourists from a European country and were not really good at English. With some sign language and my camera, I communicated my intentions, and they said YES! :). Couldn't get to talk in detail because of language barrier, but I showed them the photo and thanked them. They were satisfied and so was I.
So, my first stranger(s) portrait!
