The African Student Club and the Center for Equity and Engagement held their first “Courageous Dialog,” on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 1:30-3 in Room 2926.
The goal was for African and African American students to have an opportunity to share their perceptions, or “mis-perceptions,” of each other and how to clear up any misunderstandings. The event was structured so that everyone in attendance could have an opportunity to participate in a Courageous Dialog at some level.
The goal was for Internationalism and Multiculturalism to come together seamlessly with powerful results.
