I was on vacation in Kitty Hawk, NC last week and managed to snap a couple of shots. This is the one I was excited about. My Aunt and Uncle wanted to go out and watch the sunset, and recommended we go to a place in a town called Duck, so there were some cool shops on the sound side of the outer banks in Duck, and I was up on the dock taking my normal landscape type shots, when a crane flew down into the sunset's reflection and I had to whip out my telephoto. Unfortunately I was up on the dock so I just had the bird and the water, then I thought maybe if I tried to go under the dock I'd get a better shot and bingo. I was squating on the ground with my telephoto stuck between the side of a building and some latice to keep people out from under the dock, but I don't think I could have gotten a better shot (other than the focus, wish I had IS...) This isn't an HDR, but I did use a different White Balance which made the water more blue, and bumped the contrast a bit.
