VW Stretched Bus, Guanajuato, Mexico

While on a walking tour doing street photography on a vacation trip in Guanajuato, Mexico, I ran across this stretched Volkswagon bus.

 

Note that the front passenger door appears to be from the rear VW bus. The colors match. Next time I'm in Guanajuato I'll have to find this baby and photograph the inside too along with more details.

 

I wonder how the controls work and what the undercarriage looks like.
