two Korean girls on Robert and Bloor, Toronto

These are two Korean girls, crossing Robert Street at Bloor. I saw 15 in the span of two minutes. I saw 11 Japanese.
I saw 20 heard 20 or so people speaking native English.
This is Toronto.
I miss the sheer amount of kimchee I ate in Korea, and the fast, never striking trains of Japan. But in Toronto, I can get good Korean (if a bit expensive), and can hit the odd Bloor train at the right time.
It's bittersweet to be back: on the one hand, the noise of a language I understand 100% jars my nerves, but overall, people are far more friendly in Canada's largest city than any city I've been to in Korea, and the same goes for Japan.
The grass is never green. And suitcases always look like their neighbours on any of Toronto's conveyor belts.
