Long exposure on the A130 heading back into Southend - interior of a Ford Mondeo, camera attached to the passenger side window with a Fat Gecko suction mount.
This shot really stood out from the others that I took, mainly because of the vivid red and blue of the exterior contrasting with the relative darkness of the interior. The sky was clear and a deep blue colour - not sure what the red trails are - lorry tail lights maybe?
Really pleased with the exposure of this - just picking out enough detail in the interior but still capturing the vivid colours outside the car. Unfortunately after playing around with the mount & camera in the car for a while I'm still not confident I could replicate this type of shot. The light levels are constantly changing depending on what lights are outside the car at the time of shooting, calling for constant adjustment of camera settings. I guess there will always be a little bit of "hit and miss" with this type of shot?
Not much processing on this - Straight out of the camera - just cropped.
